Using this site

IPTools UK is provided free of charge for general IP address, DNS, domain and network diagnostic purposes. By using this site, you agree to use it lawfully and in line with our acceptable use policy, which in particular restricts the port checker and URL-checking tools to hosts and services you own or are authorised to test.

No warranty

This site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that results — including IP geolocation, WHOIS/RDAP data, DNS records, or SSL certificate information — are complete, accurate, or up to date at the moment you view them. Data is sourced from third-party registries, resolvers and services outside our control, and can be delayed, cached, incomplete, or occasionally wrong.

Do not rely on this site as the sole basis for a security, legal, or safety-critical decision. Always corroborate important results using authoritative sources — for example, a domain's official registrar for WHOIS disputes, or your own infrastructure logs for network diagnostics.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or any information it provides.

Availability

We aim to keep this site available and fast, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Individual tools may be temporarily rate-limited, degraded, or unavailable — for example, if an upstream registry or resolver is itself unavailable.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
